In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

CHARLES WALKER, age 43 from Collinsville, arrested by Centre Police on a Failure to Appear charge on Theft of Property 4th Degree;

TYLER COLEMAN, age 32 from Gadsden arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on Failure to Appear charges for a Switched Tag – and two counts of Driving While Suspended;

GERALD HUGHES, age 56 of Fort Payne, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Trafficking Marijuana, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (four counts), and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

And

SUSAN COCHRAN, age 46 of Fort Payne, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 114 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
