DEKALB COUNTY– Investigators found a husband and wife dead inside a secluded DeKalb County, Alabama, home, according to WAFF 48.
In its September 29 report, WAFF cited DeKalb County deputies as saying the couple had gone months without anyone seeing them. Investigators also found the home in poor condition.
Inside the residence, investigators discovered the couple’s dog dead as well. According to WAFF, deputies described the wife’s remains as skeletal.
Meanwhile, investigators sent the husband’s remains for toxicology testing, the station reported. Deputies do not suspect foul play at this time.
