TRENTON– The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating a Dade County shooting that sent two men to a hospital Tuesday. Meanwhile, authorities are searching for a Trenton man wanted on aggravated assault warrants.
According to the GBI, Dade County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded around 10:30 a.m. Sept. 29 to the 400 block of Michael’s Road. The initial call reported a man with a gunshot wound at a home.
However, when deputies arrived, they found two men outside the home with apparent gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to a regional hospital for medical treatment. The release did not identify the men or provide their conditions.
During the investigation, agents identified Colbin Quinn Davis, 28, of Trenton, as the alleged shooter. The GBI then obtained arrest warrants for Davis for aggravated assault.
Meanwhile, the agency described Davis as armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him should call 911 and avoid approaching him.
In addition, the GBI announced a $4,000 reward from the United States Marshal Service. The reward is for tips leading to Davis’ arrest.
The GBI is conducting the investigation at the sheriff’s office’s request. Authorities were still searching for Davis when the agency issued its release.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. Davis is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
