Emergency crews responded to the scene of a three car crash taking place just prior to 11:30 Sunday morning.
The Gaylesville Fire Department along with Floyd EMS units and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene on Highway 9 north near the County Road 115 intersection.
At least one person was checked at the scene after being shaken up in the accident.
That portion of the highway was blocked for a brief period of time as crews worked to remove vehicles.
