CENTRE– Cherokee County High School will honor veterans with a special assembly Thursday, Nov. 12. Organizers invite all veterans to the program, which begins at 11 a.m. in the school gymnasium.
The assembly will also feature short student presentations and performances recognizing veterans’ service and sacrifice. Afterward, veterans can stay for a soup reception and luncheon in their honor.
CCHS Centre FFA shared the invitation and also encouraged veterans to attend the gathering. To help organizers prepare, veterans should confirm their attendance by calling Mr. Kincer at 256-927-3625, extension 805.
