In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Zackary Cavin, age 31 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of trespassing and resisting arrest.

Jacob Barnett, age 30 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of 3rd degree possession of a forged instrument and 4th degree theft of property.

Travis Hearn, age 44 of Eatonton, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 103 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
