Cherokee County Probate Judge and County Commission Chairman Tim Burgess recently paid a visit to the WEIS Radio Studios – to discuss the Tuesday, November 5th Presidential Election – and many of the basic items you need to know in order to make your decision count.
Burgess spoke with WEIS Radio Morning Show Host Jerry Baker about a myriad of things that you should know about casting your ballot along with helpful tips and the many ways to approach election day – all designed to make your experience a positive one and show your support for the candidate of your choice.
The decision to actually GET OUT and make your choice count is first, and foremost what EVERYONE needs to do – Burgess also pointed out the VAST importance of what you need to do to make your choice count. This is the General Election, so there is only ONE ballot; be sure to provide your valid photo ID, and Burgess gives all those casting their ballot the options in regard to that. Also, bear in mind, ALL of the Polling Places and Precincts are the SAME for this election.
SECURITY is also being taken very seriously for Tuesday’s event with ALL Polling Places being staffed with Law Enforcement during the election hours from 7:00am until 7:00pm – Burgess also lists MANY of the “do’s and don’ts” at polling places – and don’t forget to PLEASE appreciate those people giving their time, and effort, in making sure that EVERYTHING RUN SMOOTHLY.
The entire interview is posted below – and we hope everyone takes time out of their very busy schedule to get out and MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT.
