One person was hurt, and another fatally injured, in a three vehicle crash on Wednesday morning in DeKalb County.
That accident took place at 9:05 on Alabama Highway 68, and it involved the driver of a 2002 Ford – Sandra Mashburn, age 70 of Albertville – who was fatally injured in that crash; also another subject from Albertville, a passenger in a 2011 Jeep was injured and a Gulf Shores native driving a 2018 Chrysler, was only shaken up in the wreck.
That accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
