PIEDMONT– The Piedmont Christmas Parade will bring an evening of holiday festivities downtown Monday, Dec. 7, beginning at 6 p.m.
The City of Piedmont plans to serve free chili, hot dogs, and hot chocolate as part of the celebration. Children can also have their pictures taken with Santa.
For those who want to take part in the parade, the city is accepting entries through its online registration form. There is no entry fee for floats, and the city will also present awards for the best floats.
The registration form includes categories for classic cars, other vehicles, tractors, fire departments, floats, and business, school, and church groups. In addition, entrants can provide the wording they would like announced downtown during the parade.
