In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

JONATHAN NICHOLSON, age 38 of Centre – arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, and is currently On Hold for another agency;

KEVIN GOWENS, age 42 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

JACOB AARON, age 28 of Boaz, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with Failure to Appear on a previous charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

And

AMANDA CHAMBLEE, age 37 of Centre – arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 109 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
