Cody Johnson has dropped a new visualizer for “I’m Gonna Love You,” and it’s a special one.

The video features never-before-seen BTS footage of Cody and Carrie Underwood recording their duet together in the studio and sharing chats outside the vocal booth.

“From the moment I heard this song, I heard Carrie’s voice on it,” Cody recalled in an earlier interview. “It was a nonnegotiable for me; either we sing it together, or I wouldn’t sing it at all. It’s that special to me.”

Carrie shared the same sentiments, adding, “From the time I first heard his voice, I knew Cody had something special.”

“Working with Carrie has been an absolute pleasure,” said Cody, who’s also been a longtime Carrie Underwood fan. “She’s not only one hell of a singer, but she’s a class act all the way around. It warms my heart to work with someone who’s seen so much success in their career and they’re still so down to earth.”

“I’m Gonna Love You” is currently approaching the top 10 of the country charts. You can find it on Cody’s latest album, Leather Deluxe Edition, out now.

Cody’s readying to hit Newark, Charlottesville and St. Louis on the next stops of his ongoing Leather Deluxe Tour. You can find a full list of dates and grab tickets at codyjohnsonmusic.com.
