CEDAR BLUFF – Cedar Bluff swept a volleyball tri-match from Wellborn and Gaston on Tuesday. The Lady Tigers defeated Wellborn 25-16, 25-11, then beat Gaston 25-7, 25-23 to improve to 13-9 on the season.

In the win over Wellborn, Paityn Walker delivered 13 kills, three assists, three digs and two aces. Marlee Timm tallied 10 assists, three kills and three digs. Vana Martin managed 11 digs, two assists and an ace. Cece Davis posted six digs and three kills.

Jahleigh Dodd and Makayla Kimmons came away with four digs and three digs respectively. Jakirah Brown added a kill and an ace. Piper Cromer finished with a dig.

Against Gaston, Walker earned nine kills, four digs, three assists and an ace. Timm managed four assists, three kills and two digs. Martin posted 11 digs and an assist. Davis contributed four kills, a dig and an ace.

Cromer posted four digs, a kill and an ace. Marley Horton had two digs and a block. Kimmons came away four digs. Brown delivered two aces and Dodd finished with a dig.

Cedar Bluff hosts Spring Garden on Thursday at 5 p.m.
