A parade of support for local law enforcement officials is set to take place on Friday July 10th at 5:30 p.m. in Centre.

Those wanting to take part are asked to meet and line up in the old K-mart parking lot at 5:00 p.m. The procession will be led by Centre Fire Department.

Once you arrive to line up everyone is asked to remain in your vehicles, if you must get out of your vehicle while in the parking lot you are asked to practice safe social distancing.

Everyone is encouraged to make banners and/or posters with positive messages of support.

The parade will travel down Main Street to pass by the Centre Police Department and then proceed on to Cedar Bluff Rd (beside the court house) to pass by the Sheriff’s Department where everyone will disperse and go their separate way once the route reach the red light at CVS.
