It started early this morning as a mixture of rain and sleet and eventually turned into a steady snowfall.
Although, most roads in town remained passable early, some of the secondary streets and rural roads became more and more treacherous as the snow fell.
The National Weather Service says we can expect to see snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain for the remainder of Tuesday with a high near 35.
Tonight: Rain likely, possibly mixed with sleet before midnight, then rain, possibly mixed with freezing rain and sleet. Low around 35.
