Mr. Charles Richard Browder, age 64 of Centre, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Atrium Health Floyd in Rome, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Tracey and Chip Ferguson officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 11 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Browder; Son, Daniel Browder; Niece, Cheryl Reed; Nephew, Robbie Browder.
Charles did upholstery work for over 30 years at Jack’s Trim Shop in Fort Payne, AL, where he worked alongside his father and brother. In 2013, he had to shut the shop down. In 2014, Charles started working at Walmart in Centre, AL as overnight maintenance, which he did for seven and half years. Charles loved to watch movies and was a big fan of John Wayne and classic World War ll films. Movies were also a bonding experience with his son Daniel. Charles loved his family and would do any and every thing he could to provide for them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Browder and Betty Franklin Browder; Brother, Paul Victor Browder.
