A weather system is expected to move through the Ohio River Valley with enough wrap-around moisture stretching down into the northern portions of Alabama Friday evening. Temperatures will be in the low 40s for these areas during the day on Friday, dropping into the low 30s when the precipitation moves in as a rain/snow mix. Isolated accumulations of snow are possible for portions of our northernmost counties, but amounts should be limited to less than 1/4″ mainly on grassy and/or elevated surfaces.
