Centre Christmas Parade A Great Success

The Centre Christmas Parade on Thursday, December 7th, went off without any major issues. Everyone in attendance seemed to enjoy the event. There were many floats and a total of more than 100 entries.

It was a big parade and the snow (snow machine produced) on Main Street seemed to be a hit with the younger spectators.

Pastor Shane Swafford from the Grace Pointe Church of God gave the invocation. Float judges for the event were: Sheree Nicholson of Centre, Michael and Stacy Gorman from the Atlanta area.

The float winners in the Business category were:

1st Place-Graystone Landscape Supply (No Photo Available)

2nd Place-Dukes Alley

3rd Place-Easy Street Restaurant and Bar
