We Care Vet Fair to Bring Resources, Support, and Free Concert for Veterans

ROME— Veterans, active-duty military personnel, family members, caregivers, and survivors are invited to attend the 2026 We Care Vet Fair Northwest Georgia, a two-day event designed to connect attendees with critical services, resources, and support programs in one convenient location.

Hosted by United Military Care in partnership with AdventHealth, the event will take place Thursday, June 11, and Friday, June 12, at The Forum River Center, located at 301 Tribune Street in Rome, Georgia. Admission and parking are both free.

Organizers say the event is focused on helping military families and veterans navigate available services with the goal of ensuring attendees “come with questions and leave with a plan.”

The fair will feature more than 100 partners offering information and assistance related to veterans benefits, employment opportunities, housing, health resources, and support services.

On Thursday, June 11, the event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will include a Women Veterans Engagement Event from 9 a.m. until noon, along with a 1010 VA Enrollment Event taking place throughout the day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Activities continue Friday, June 12, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., featuring access to benefit programs, jobs, housing assistance, and support services all in one place. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in quick community connection sessions featuring real-life speakers and practical topics, as well as free health screenings and wellness resources available on site.

The concert, which is open to the community, will feature Brother Mojo with special guest Mason Thompson. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the evening celebration.
