Mr. John Mitchell Inman, age 76 of Collinsville, passed away on May 1, 2026, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery.The family will receive friends on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m at the funeral home.

He is survived by his former wife, Brenda Inman; daughter, Sharon Hunnicutt; sons, Robert (Matthew) Inman and David (Mary) Inman; grandchildren, Karrame (James), Karika (Todd), Daniel, Brian (Natasha), Kayla (Dillan), Chris (Katie) and John; 27 great grandchildren; and brother, Virgal Inman.

Pallbearers will be Chris Whitmire, Hunter Whitmire, Tim Neal, Logan Worley, Noah Worley, James Campbell, Brian Inman, and Todd Champion.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Audrey Inman; wife, Glenda Inman; daughter-in-law, Candice Inman; and grandson, Robert Inman.
