Glencoe Police Captain Graduates from Southeastern Leadership Command College
Glencoe-The Glencoe Police Department has announced that Captain Kip Williams has graduated from the Southeastern Leadership Command College at Jacksonville State University.
The executive-level program brings together public safety leaders from across the region and is designed to strengthen leadership capacity, decision-making skills, and collaboration in today’s increasingly complex public safety environments.
During the Command College, Captain Williams completed advanced leadership training covering topics such as ethical and adaptive leadership, organizational accountability, strategic planning, emotional intelligence, and interagency cooperation. Department officials said the coursework directly applies to modern law enforcement challenges and reinforces the importance of leading with integrity, clear purpose, and a commitment to service.
The graduation ceremony included a keynote address from Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall, who spoke on the importance of principled leadership, public trust, and the responsibility carried by those serving in public safety roles throughout the state.
Glencoe Police Department officials congratulated Captain Williams on his achievement, noting that the training will further enhance leadership within the department and benefit the community it serves.
