HUNTSVILLE POST—A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:25 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, has claimed the life of a Sylvania man. Nevan A. Hall, 22, was fatally injured when the 2015 Ford Super Duty truck that he was driving, left the roadway and struck a tree. Hall was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger of the Ford, Christopher A. Hall, 28, of Valley Head, was injured and transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred on Alabama 79 near Letson Point Drive, approximately three miles north of Hytop, in Jackson County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
