Gadsden State Alumni Association accepting Alumni of the Year nominations
Gadsden, Ala. — The Gadsden State Community College Alumni Association is accepting nominations for its annual Alumni of the Year Awards.
“We are asking people in our community who have left a lasting impression on our service area,” said Julie White, president of the Gadsden State Alumni Association. “We have celebrated 100 years of excellence in 2025 and remember those that have continued to remain an integral part of our success.”
“Take the time this holiday season to think of a Gadsden State alumni member, student, faculty, staff, community member, or stakeholder who consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership and creativity. Take a moment to nominate someone today, so that we can recognize them in 2026.”
Gadsden State Community College Alumni Association invites community members to nominate outstanding alumni in the following categories:
- Distinguished Alumni of the Year
- Emerging Alumni of the Year (35 or younger)
- Outstanding GSCC Faculty and Staff Alumni of the Year
- Outstanding GSCC Athletic Alumni
The awards are for individuals whose accomplishments reflect admirably and bring honor to Gadsden State Community College, those who have demonstrated success in leadership, volunteerism, and community service.
Nominations for all awards are accepted by Gadsden State students, faculty, staff, alumni and community supporters. The deadline for nominations is Dec. 31, 2025.
