Mrs. Shelia Jones Smith Wall, 75, formerly of Cherokee County, passed away at her home in Canton, N.C., on Oct. 10, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Blue and Willene Jones; her sister, Martha Jones; and her previous husband, Gerald Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Rob Wall; her children, Mike (Kathryn) Smith, Kathy (Jeff) Shepherd, Sharon Holt, Diane (Tony) Lanzarotta, and Alicia (Barry) Suttles; her sisters, Debbie Yarbrough (Randy MacDonald) and Brenda (Barry) McQueen; her brothers, Buddy (Linda) Jones, Billy (Shelia) Jones, and David (Tracey) Jones; and her aunt, Ruth Brewster.
She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; several cousins; and her special friend, Wayne Killian.
A memorial is planned at a later date.
