ATTALLA– The Attalla Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating 15-year-old Emmaliyah Grace Matchen, whom authorities have classified as a missing/runaway juvenile.
According to police, the last known sighting of Emmaliyah occurred at approximately 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, in the Walker Drive area within the Attalla city limits.
Emmaliyah is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
However, authorities do not know what clothing she was wearing when she disappeared.
The department lists the case as active under case number 260958.
Anyone who sees Emmaliyah or has information about her whereabouts should immediately call Attalla Police Dispatch at 256-538-7837. Callers may also contact detectives at 256-455-3698.
Police are encouraging the public to share the alert as authorities work to locate Emmaliyah safely.
