CEDAR BLUFF – The Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers split a home volleyball tri-match with Piedmont and Collinsville on Tuesday. They lost to Piedmont 23-25, 21-25 but rebounded to defeat Collinsville 25-23, 24-26, 15-6 to improve to 2-4 on the season.
In the loss to Piedmont, Paityn Walker accumulated six kills, three assists and a dig. Marlee Timm contributed five assists, three aces and a dig. Vana Martin posted 11 digs and a kill.
Cece Davis delivered four kills. Piper Cromer came away with two kills and two digs. Makayla Kimmons had three digs. Marley Horton finished with a kill.
In the win over Collinsville, Walker collected nine kills, five digs, four assists and three aces. Timm tallied nine assists. Martin managed 15 digs.
Davis contributed four kills, four digs and an ace. Kimmons came away with five digs. Cromer had three kills. Jakirah Brown finished with an ace.
Cedar Bluff travels to Appalachian on Thursday.
