SPRING GARDEN – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors earned a volleyball tri-match win over Donoho and Spring Garden on Thursday. They defeated Donoho 17-25, 25-21, 15-9 then came away with a 25-15, 21-25, 15-6 win over host Spring Garden to improve to 8-1 on the season.

For the evening, Ava Haygood collected 19 kills, 13 digs, six aces, an assist, and a block. Jolie Alexander delivered 15 kills, 14 digs, three assists and an ace. Taniya Fife contributed 14 kills, four digs, four blocks, three aces and an assist.

Mattie Green accumulated 24 assists, 10 kills, eight digs, three blocks and an ace. Harleigh Henry had nine digs, eight aces, four kills and a block Sydni Frost finished with 28 assists, two digs and an ace.

Cherokee County travels to Southside of Gadsden on Monday for a quad match with the Lady Panthers, Lincoln and Oxford beginning at 4 p.m.
