Mr. Charles H. Latty, 71, of Rogersville, formerly of Centre, Alabama, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 at his residence after an extended battle with cancer. He loved to fish and watch his grandsons play football and basketball. He loved watching Alabama football and adored his pets.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23rd from 1-2 at Rogersville Funeral Home with a graveside service following in the adjoining cemetery. Mark Cosby and Ray Latty will be officiating. Mr. Latty’s nephews will serve as his pallbearers.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Carlton and Mary Alice Latty; brother, James Latty; sisters, Linda Stinson and Sara Jolly. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dianna Latty; sons, John Charles (Renee) Latty and Jamey Micheal Latty; grandsons, Julian Micheal Latty, Chancellor Meade Latty; granddaughters, Whitney (Brad) Cates-Rutland, Ashley (Daniel) McPheters; brothers, Ray (Teri) Latty, Roy (Teresa) Latty; sisters, Helen (Calvin) Sanford; Ann (James) Pruit; brother-in-law, Jim (Sharon) Meade; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special friends, Doug Ray, Scott Robinson, Gary Conaway, Kenneth Rowland, Harvey Wade, Diane Battles, Rose Martinez and Mark Cosby.
The family would like to extend a special ‘thank you’ to the nurses of Preferred Care hospice nurses for the love and care they showed Mr. Latty.
