Mrs. Dorothy Sue Dowda Miller, age 100 of Centre, passed away Tuesday, October 08, 2024 at Silver Lakes Assisted Living.

A graveside service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, October 19, 2024 in Cherokee Memory Gardens with Bro. Danny Farley officiating.

Ms. Miller is survived by her son, Carl “Buddy” Dowda (Gin); daughters, Janet Sosebee (Vernon), Diane Vaughn and Donna Hudmon (Mike); 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Dowda and Ted Miller.

Ms. Miller was a lifelong native of Alabama and she was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Silver Lake Memory Care Unit and Southern Care New Beacon Hospice.
