In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JASON PICKLE, age 49 of Summerville, Georgia – arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of Attempting to Elude and Public Intoxication;

JAMES WALDROP – age 36 of Florence, Alabama – arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on charges of Failure to Appear/Driving While Revoked – and also Failure to Appear/an Insurance Violation;

TIMOTHY WAITS, age 47 of Cedar Bluff, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Failure to Appear/Unlawful Possession  of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Failure to Appear/the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

ESVIN LOPEZ, age 25 from Atlanta, Georgia was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence;

And

COURTNEY BONE, 32 of Leesburg – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – and was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 84 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
