In the early morning hours of Sunday – Alabama State Troopers arrested a woman from Gadsden and then took her into custody – charging her with Driving Under The Influence in neighboring Etowah County.
According to Trooper reports, at 2:05am the woman’s vehicle, a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee – left the roadway on Whites Chapel Road, and struck a tree.
Afterwards, she was transported to Riverview Regional Medical Centre for treatment.
The extent of her injuries remains unknown.
