One person was hurt in a two-vehicle accident in DeKalb County Sunday evening.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, there was a two-vehicle collision involving a 2021 Chevrolet and a 2011 Chrysler just after 7:30pm on Alabama Highway 75 at mile marker 101. 

The driver of the Chevy – a female residing in Sylvania was transported for treatment meanwhile the driver of the Chrysler, a male from Ider – escaped injury.

No additional information regarding the extent of the victim’s injuries was released.

That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
