Following 40 years of service to the court system in Cherokee County, longtime Chief Juvenile Probation Officer Tim Sauls has made the decision to retire.

A number of court officials, co workers, family and friends gathered at the Cherokee County Historical Museum on Tuesday for a reception in Tim’s honor.

Among those that spoke was Cherokee County District Court Judge Wes Mobley –

Cherokee County Probate Judge Tim Burgess had these comments –

Over his 40 years, Tim has worked for a number of District Judges including Judge Lumpkin, Judge Coggins, Judge Kelsey, Judge Carver and now Judge Mobley.
