Gadsden Police are investigating a homicide occurring on Sunday morning.
According to Sgt. John Hallman, Gadsden Police responded to the 1700 block of Springrock Streetat approximately 6:30 a.m. Sunday in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a gunshot victim in the parking lot.
The gunshot victim was later identified as 30 year old Antonio Gustavious Taylor of Gadsden. Taylor was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An individual was taken into custody and interviewed. No charges have been filed at this time. Detectives continue to investigate.
