Alabama Governor Robert Bentley has recently awarded just under half-a-million dollars to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency through various grants – with the Collinsville Police Department receiving $1,211.00 of that for use in updating their Dispatch Command Center
More than 40 departments across the state will benefit from the funds being distributed for use in purchasing a wide range of equipment including everything from bulletproof vests to weapons to computers and body cameras.
