CEDAR BLUFF – The Town of Cedar Bluff is preparing for a full day of patriotic fun, family entertainment, and community celebration as it hosts its annual Liberty Day festivities on Saturday, July 4, at Cedar Bluff Park. This year’s event will carry special significance as the nation celebrates America’s 250th birthday.

The celebration begins at 9 a.m. and offers a full schedule of activities designed for visitors of all ages. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy live music, delicious food vendors, arts and crafts, a petting zoo, inflatables for children, a bungee trampoline, rock climbing, and many other family-friendly attractions.

A highlight of the morning will be the Cedar Bluff Liberty Day Car Show, which gets underway at 9 a.m. and continues until 1 p.m. at 4971 Alabama Highway 68 in Cedar Bluff. The show will feature an impressive collection of classic cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, Jeeps and other specialty vehicles, giving automotive enthusiasts plenty to enjoy while celebrating Independence Day.

Live entertainment will keep the celebration going throughout the day with performances by:

  • Parker Thomas
  • Stranded
  • Austin Bishop
  • Self Served Unplugged
  • Strictly Skynard

Organizers say the combination of live music, family activities, shopping opportunities, great food and the car show makes Liberty Day one of the area’s premier Independence Day celebrations.

WEIS Radio will be broadcasting live on location with the WEIS Radio Road Crew from 9 AM until Noon!

The festivities will conclude Saturday evening with a spectacular fireworks display over Weiss Lake, providing a patriotic finale to the day’s events.
