Mr. James McDaniel age 65 of Cedar Bluff passed away Monday at his residence.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday , June 26th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rick Jones, Rev. Derek Roberts, Rev. Danny Lanley and Rev. Frank Crane officiating: burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers include Billy McDaniel, Kevin McDaniel, Lee McDaniel, Justin Barnes, Timothy Barnes, Rodney Trotter, Duck Trotter, Johnathon Abernathy, Logan McDaniel, Jeremy Hunt, Kaleb Johnson.

Survivors include step-sons, Jeremy, Jammy and Chris White; step-daughter, Christy Evans; special son, Jeremy Hunt; special nephew, Brandon McDaniel; special granddaughters, Hannah & Kelsy White; mother, Georgia McDaniel; brothers, Leonard McDaniel, Lester McDaniel, Buddy McDaniel, Royce McDaniel & Frank McDaniel; sisters, Joann Trotter, Martha McDaniel, Joyce Rickett & Debra Abernathy. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mr. McDaniel was a native of Cherokee County and was preceded in death by his wife Kathy McDaniel, his father, John Patrick McDaniel and a sister Lena Sue Terry.
