In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the past 24 hours:

CARINA REED, age 46 from Centre was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Surface (two counts) – and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

RONALD HAMMITT, age 49 of Rome, Georgia, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police, and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Surface, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree – and also with Giving False Identification to Law Enforcement;

JALEN MCCAIN 22 of Christiana, Tennessee was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Bond Revocation;

JONATHAN MCKNIGHT age 54 from Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on four counts of Failure to Appear;

And

BRANDON KILGORE, age 38 of Heflin – was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police – and charged with two counts of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and also Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 110 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
