Rock Climber Falls at Cherokee Rock Village Park
At approximately 3:25 Saturday afternoon, a male rock climber fell some 15 feet – resulting in an ankle injury. Units with Sand Rock Fire, Leesburg Fire, Cherokee Rescue, and Atrium EMS all immediately responded to the scene.
The injured man was carried about a half-mile to an ambulance in the parking lot and taken for treatment.
