We’ve received several reports of power outages across northeast Cherokee County affecting the communities of Broomtown, New Moon, and Ringgold, among others. Above is an outage map from Cherokee Electric as of 8:29 this morning.
The outages follow one report of a blown transformer (pictured below) along County Road 41 near Watson’s Crossroads occurring at approximately 7:45am.
