Suspect Sought in Gadsden Shooting Incident that Left Two Teens Injured

An investigation is underway after two teens were shot in Gadsden over the weekend

The shooting happened around 6:15 on Saturday evening – in the 1100 block of West Meighan Boulevard.  Gadsden Police Sgt. Marcus Hill said officers arrived to find two male victims wounded.  A 16 year-old was treated and has since been discharged from the hospital – while an 18 year old remains in critical but stable condition.  Hill said the incident started out as an argument inside a gas station, and at some point, a woman fired multiple shots at the victims and then fled the scene.  No charges have been announced.

We’ll have additional information as it becomes available.
