Alabama State Troopers report a two-vehicle accident in Cherokee County Thursday during which one of the vehicles fled the scene.
The incident occurred at 3:35pm on Highway 411 at the 248 mile marker, involving a 2014 Kia driven by a male resident of Centre and the other vehicle, which left the scene. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident reported DID NOT include a description of the vehicle troopers are looking for. Fortunately, the driver of the Kia was unhurt.
The matter remains under investigation by troopers.
