There was a two vehicle accident involving an 18 wheeler and an SUV on West Main Street in front of the Centre Wal Mart on Tuesday afternoon.
Centre Police and Fire, Leesburg Police, Floyd EMS and Cherokee County EMA officials responded to the scene.
The driver of the 18 wheeler was treated by medics for an apparent knee injury.
