An Etowah County woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash occurring in front of Wendy’s on West Main Street in Centre just prior to 4:00pm Thursday.
That accident involved a 2017 Toyota Corolla being driven by 36 year old Gadsden resident April Ivey who was transported to Floyd Regional Medical Center in Rome by Floyd EMS for treatment – and a 2015 Suburu Forester driven by 23 year old Ashley Norris from Ft Payne, who was unhurt.
Centre Police and Fire units responded to the scene.
Traffic was down to one-lane for a short time as crews cleared away debris.
