Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images(FOXBOROUGH, Mass.) — It’s official- the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons are set to face-off in Super Bowl LI.
The Falcons beat the Green Bay Packers 44-21 in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday afternoon in Atlanta. In the later game, the Patriots hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers, who were easily defeated 36-17, in the AFC Championship Game.
This will be the second Super Bowl for the Falcons after the team lost to the Denver Broncos 34-19 in 1999.
The Patriots, meanwhile, have won four Super Bowls and lost four.
