Calhoun County resident Amelia Preston has been arrested on a charge of Manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of a 49 year old man, during the early morning hours of Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Jerry Shaw, was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:00am after law enforcement responded to a call reporting shots fired on Red Road 55 in White Plains.
Investigators say the shooting occurred as the result of a domestic dispute.
Preston remains in the Calhoun County Jail with bond set at $20,000.
