In the arrest files for the previous 24 hours:

Brittany Wood, age 31 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of two counts of the chemical endangerment of a child, 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eric Crane, age 49 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of three counts of driving while license revoked and for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Alexis Strattis, age 40 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 1st degree cruelty to dog or cat and 2nd degree cruelty to dog or cat.

Joshua Searles, age 32 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 1st degree cruelty to dog or cat and 2nd degree cruelty to dog or cat.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 90 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
