VIERA, Fla. – Centre Middle School seventh grade softball pitcher Addie Sherrod’s 12-and-under softball team went undefeated and won the USSSA All-American games at the Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida over the weekend.
Sherrod held her opponents to a .175 batting average as well as batted .389 with two home runs, a triple and four singles, including a home run and a triple in the championship game. She received the Outstanding Pitching award for her age division.
Next up for Sherrod is the all-state tournament this weekend in Cullman.
