Recreational Vehicle Accident Injures One

Two men riding on a Side by Side ATV Tuesday afternoon were injured when they hit a bump and the vehicle over turned. One suffered significant injuries in the mishap. The two left the crashed vehicle trying to find help while the crashed vehicle was found abandoned. A search was initiated with the Mt. Weisner Fire Department, Cherokee County Rescue Squad, EMA Officials, and Atrium EMS. The two injured victims found their way out of the wooded area and the found the search party. Both were treated on the scene with one being transported to a local hospital for further treatment of injuries.

The accident occurred off County Road 32 in the southern portion of Cherokee County.
