In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Jesus Mendoza, age 44 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of resisting arrest.

Amanda Chamblee, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Brandon Henderson, age 31 of Lyerly, Georgia, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of 1st degree criminal trespass and 3rd degree burglary.

Skylar Kirk, age 32 of Jacksonville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 95 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
