In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Aja Gipson, age 35 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence harassing communications.

Nicholas Moore, age 29 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Charles Neal, age 48 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Gary Morrison, age 47 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Darren Terry, age 30 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Kerry Nichols, age 19 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Savanna Crane, age 22 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 88 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
